Adobe Launched Flash Player 10.2 for Windows, Mac, and Linux

flashplayer_165x165 You may love or hate Flash Player, but updated versions are never a bad thing. Adobe announced the release of Flash Player 10.2 for Windows, Mac and Linux. Flash Player 10.2 delivers beautiful HD video, faster graphics rendering, and high performance on mobile screens and is designed to take advantage of native device capabilities. This new version features Stage Video, a complete hardware accelerated video-pipeline to bring first-class video on all browsers as well as platforms.

The Adobe Flash Player 10.2 no longer supports Microsoft Windows 2000 and Macintosh PowerPC-based computers.

Adobe Is Moving Flash To 3D

Flash Player product manager Imbert Thibault, published the post Flash Player 3D Future session at Max 2010, revealed Adobe Systems is adding 3D graphics support to a coming version of its widely used browser plug-in.

Adobe Confirm Flash Player 10.1 Still On Schedule

Adobe Pushed Out The First Hardware-accelerated Flash Player 10.1 Release Candidate

Adobe-Flash-Player-icon Apple said Adobe Flash NOT in the iPad  because apparently Adobe’s software is a “CPU hog”, a source of “security holes” and an “old technology”.  Now Adobe Systems probably can say it will be no longer a problem–Adobe announced a downloadable Release Candidate (RC) version of its Flash Player 10.1 software, presently available only for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux operating systems, but showcases mobile-centric features such as multi-touch and H.264 hardware acceleration.
